All our packaging is recyclable, and we favor the use of glass rather than plastic.

All manufacturing is carried out in the South West of France, in an ecological approach that respects people and the environment.

The raw material suppliers have been carefully selected for the quality of their work and their ecological sensitivity. Most of the ingredients such as donkey milk, camelina or kiwi oils come from organic farms in the South-West of France, while more exotic oils such as Kukui oil comes from Hawaii or Inca Inchi oil from Latin America and come from eco-responsible farms. 

Alaena products are certified by Ecocert Cosmos (Cosmetic Organic Standard), a European label that includes French, German, Italian and English organic labels. Alaena's personal goal is to maximize the concentration of high-quality organic ingredients in its formulas, beyond the regulatory 20%. 

Alaena's quality charter excludes more than sixty cosmetic ingredients. As a precautionary principle, the brand is ahead of cosmetic regulations. The product formulas are among the most respectful of the skin and the environment on the market and exclude parabens, synthetic fragrances, mineral oil, silicone, acrylates, ethylene oxide derivatives, formaldehyde derivatives, disputed chemical preservatives and synthetic sunscreens. 

A Vegan cosmetic respects the values ​​of veganism: it prohibits all animal matter from its formulation And refuses animal testing .

As a reminder, since 2009 in France, cosmetic ingredients are no longer subject to animal testing. Between 2013 and 2016, the European Union also banned the importation of cosmetic products tested on animals into its territory.

At Alaena's  we ban animal testing  : none of our formulas, nor any ingredient used, is tested on animals.

Some  formulas are Vegan, but not all, because we promote beehive products (propolis, beeswax) and donkey milk, from production that respects animals and the environment.

Some products like the fruit acid peeling will have an immediate effect on radiance but otherwise you have to wait for a skin renewal cycle, around 28 days.

Our products can be stored at room temperature, up to 24 degrees.

If the temperature in your bathroom exceeds 24 degrees, you can store them in the fridge for better preservation of the active ingredients.
