Cold and skin
In winter, blood vessels contract and blood migrates primarily to vital organs to warm the body. The cold alters the skin's hydrolipidic film, which usually acts as a protective shield against external aggressions (stress, UV rays, pollution).
The skin barrier is thus weakened, the skin becomes dehydrated, dries out and can feel tight or itchy. It will therefore be necessary to choose richer textures combining vegetable oils and waxes, associated with moisturizing and soothing active ingredients to help the skin defend itself.
