Why do a double cleanse ?
The first step in the Alaena minimalist ritual, double cleansing is essential for maintaining healthy, glowing skin.
Performing a double cleanse in the evening allows you to:
- remove impurities, makeup, pollution with makeup remover oil. Impurities are fatty substances. Fat attracts fat, so oil helps to eliminate them as best as possible,
- cleanse and rebalance the skin's flora thanks to mango & avocado soap cold saponification,
- finally spray the water mist to neutralize chlorine and limescale in tap water to prevent tightness.

I'm afraid the Cleansing Oil will be too oily for my skin.
The Cleansing Oil contains vegetable oils with a high affinity with skin cells. In addition, its emulsified texture is very light and does not leave a greasy film on the skin. It is therefore suitable for all skin types, even combination to oily skin, with acne problems.
Can I use the cleansing oil morning and evening ?
Dr. Sylvie Peres recommends using it in the evening as part of the double cleaning to remove impurities, makeup and pollution. Impurities are fatty substances. Fat attracts fat, so oil helps to eliminate them as best as possible.
In the morning you can simply use the mango & avocado soap which will rebalance the pH and regulate the skin's flora while leaving a moisturizing veil on the surface.
Should I use a cotton pad to apply makeup remover oil to my eyes ?
To complete the eye makeup removal, you can apply the makeup remover oil to a washable makeup remover disc . Also, after rinsing your face with water, you can remove excess makeup using a washable pad or a clean towel.
